– Australia Scholarship 2022 –

Flinders University is now accepting applications for its Destination Australia Scholarship from appropriately qualified candidates. All students are eligible for this fully supported grant.

 

About Flinders University

Adelaide, South Australia's Flinders University is a public university.

         

It was named after navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and documented the South Australian coastline in the early nineteenth century. It was founded in 1966.

 

Flinders University is a thriving institution that belongs to the Innovative Research Universities (IRU) Group. It is ranked 10-16 in Australia and 36th in the world among universities founded less than 50 years ago.

 

The Scholarship for Destination Australia's Purpose and Benefits

Domestic students will be eligible for 12 scholarships, while overseas students will be eligible for two (2). Scholarships will be worth $15,000 each year for up to three years, depending on the length of the recipient's program.

After each semester's census date, payment will be made in two installments per year.

 

Scholarship Requirements for Destination Australia

 

An applicant must meet the following requirements:

1. Be starting a bachelor's degree at Flinders University's Riverland campus; and

2. Continue to reside in a regional area as defined by the Australian Bureau of Statistics' 2016 Australian Statistical Geography Standard Remoteness Structure; and

3. Be a full-time student.

4. International scholarship recipients must additionally keep a Student Visa for the term of the scholarship.
