Applications for the University of Adelaide Research Scholarship are now being accepted from students who meet the necessary qualifications. For all students, it is a fully financed scholarship.
About the Scholarship
This joint-funded PhD opportunity from CSIRO and the University of Adelaide is designed to assist a full-time PhD candidate who wants to start their research in the applied sciences of physics, geology, or chemistry. A 3-month internship with the CSIRO is part of this project.
Benefits of the Scholarship
The following advantages are available to those who are awarded the University of Adelaide Research CSIRO Supplementary Scholarship:
The Grant: $28,854 per year (2022 rate, indexed annually).
CSIRO Additional Scholarship: $5,000 per year and additional operating funds.
Requirements for the Scholarship
The following requirements must be met by candidates in order to be eligible for the Scholarship:
1. Candidates must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents, or foreign students.
2. Be qualified to apply for a PhD at the University of Adelaide.
3. Possess Australian First Class Honors or a comparable degree.
4. Be eligible to start studying in Semester 2 of 2022.

1. Degree certificates (testamurs)
2. Academic transcripts.
3. Translations of non-English documentation.
4. Evidence of English language proficiency.
5. Curriculum vitae.
