The Master of Drug Discovery Scholarship at Victoria University of Wellington is presently accepting applications from adequately qualified students. All students are eligible for this fully supported grant.
Graduates of this program will be prepared to work in the
pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and agrichemical industries. The program was
created in collaboration with renowned experts in the pharmaceutical and
associated industries.
Students will benefit from coursework in a variety of
interdisciplinary subjects, including medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical
analytical chemistry, and drug formulation, as well as the regulatory framework
in which pharmaceutical and related companies operate and intellectual property
protection strategies.
This program is meant to give students a thorough
understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and can lead to a PhD in a
relevant topic.
Master of Drug Discovery Scholarship Value
The winning candidate will earn NZ$15,000 in prize money.
This scholarship can only be applied to the candidate's
tuition.
Scholarship Eligibility
1. Those who get this fellowship will be required to work on
a research project under the supervision of a mentor.
2. Applicants must meet the program's eligibility
requirements.
3. You must meet the university's eligibility requirements.
4. Obtain an appropriate visa to study in New Zealand; and
5. Open to all
overseas students who meet the requirements.
Scholarship Documentation
1. Copies of academic transcripts

4. A letter of motivation
5. Two referee reports (at least one from an
academic/research supervisor of the candidate)
Conditions and Regulations
1. On the closing date, a completed online application must
be submitted by 4.30 p.m.
2. All Scholarship offers are conditioned on the applicant
being enrolled full-time in a full-year program.
3. The Scholarship cannot be carried over to a subsequent
year.
4. The Scholarship may be combined with other scholarships.
5. If requested, recipients are expected to function as
Victoria University of Wellington Ambassadors and engage in suitable events or
marketing.
6. Finally, the Scholarship's terms and conditions may be
changed in exceptional circumstances.
