The University of Toronto, in collaboration with Lester Pearson, is now accepting applications for Lester Pearson International Scholarships from appropriately qualified applicants. All students are eligible for this fully supported grant.
Lester Pearson Scholarship Information
Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships at the
University of Toronto provide excellent international students an unrivaled
chance to study at one of the world's greatest institutions in one of the
world's most multicultural cities.
The scholarship program is designed to honor students who
excel academically and creatively, as well as those who are recognized as
leaders in their schools.
Lester Pearson International Scholarships: Purpose and Benefits
Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships will cover four
years of tuition, books, incidental fees, and complete living expenses.
The grant is only available to first-year undergraduate
students at the University of Toronto. Lester B. Pearson Scholars will be named
every year to roughly 37 students.
Lester Pearson International Scholarship Requirements
To be eligible for the Pearson International Scholarship,
you must meet the following criteria:
1. An foreign student (i.e., someone who is not a Canadian
and needs a study permission);
2. You must be in your final year of high school or have
graduated by June 2022.
3. In September 2023, you will begin your studies at the
University of Toronto (students already attending post-secondary studies cannot
be considered; students starting their studies in January 2023 at another
post-secondary institution cannot be considered)
Required Documents for the Application
The deadline for school nominations is November 30, 2022.
The deadline for student OUAC applications is December 14,
2022. (Please note that this is the last day to apply to the OUAC;
nevertheless, it is strongly recommended that you apply before November 7,
2022, since program slots fill up quickly and popular programs may close
early.)
The deadline for student scholarship applications is January
16, 2023.
